Assistant Treasurer
Evan has served as Board Member and Treasurer of Citizens for Global Solutions and Citizens for Global Solutions Education Fund since 2014 and as Executive Committee member and Treasurer of WFM from 2017 to 2025. Evan holds an MBA degree from the University of Chicago, an MA degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota, and a BA from Cornell University. He currently resides in Claremont, California, USA.
Prior to retirement in 2001, he developed and deliveredhealth care services for inner-city populations in Chicago, Illinois and New York Cityas an executive in health care delivery organizations. Following his retirement in 2001, he volunteered for 15 years as project manager, consultant, and executive coach with Executive Service Corps of Chicago. He assisted many non-profit organizations to plan strategically, to recruit capable members of boards of directors, to manage their finances, and to develop capacity to raise funds. He served as Chair of the Board of Community Counseling Centers of Chicago from 2016 to 2020, and since 2025 has served as Treasurer of Newcomers Access Center, serving immigrants and refugees in southern California.
